Earlier last week, there was a motion among my peers to create a blog for all of us and just write everything that we can think about in it. The Idea started when we simply wanted another colleague to start his own blog site, but because he is too hesitant to create one of his own, it was decided that it should be a group blog to get him into writing.
To make the story short, the blog has been created earlier today… patio6.blogspot.com
At the same time, Jackie wanted to start a blog of our own, which would show our interests, activities, and simply everything we can think of involving families and friends. She simply wanted to start putting her ideas into words, get things rolling, and see what happens.
This is how ourhomeisgoodenough.blogspot.com has come to fruition…
Honestly, I do not know if I am capable of maintaining multiple sites simultaneously; however, since I will not be the only writer for the abovementioned sites, I feel confident that those sites would at least be fruitful.
For me, the idea of blogging is basically for the purpose of having fun . I decided to create this (pinoysitensai) blog site because I wanted to have a medium to which I can practice my creativity in writing. So far, it has been a really good experience being able to write my thoughts and see people actually caring to read them. Call me hubris but I really like the feeling that I know there are people wanting to see what I write in here. It gives me that certain satisfaction that I was able to communicate even though it was only a one way deal. I most especially like it when people would actually give me their time to comment on the posts that I wrote and give me some nice feedbacks along the way.
I am also happy that things are going well for me as a writer. I openly admitted that I am a frustrated writer, trying to be a real writer and with the stuff that I have been doing lately, it seems that I am more likely to remove those frustrations and be a real writer, both as a profession and a hobby. I remember some people would say that there is no money in writing but from the looks of it, I am earning money through writing. I am currently a technical writer and I get paid to write. It may not be creatively but I am still a writer by title. Creativity comes as I write my blogs. I currently have three blogs to take care of so I guess they are enough to cover for it.
With the spare time that we have right now, I’m trying to revive my ~writing skills~ through blogging and reading.
“Honestly, I do not know if I am capable of maintaining multiple sites simultaneously; however, since I will not be the writer for the abovementioned sites, I feel confident that those sites would at least be fruitful.” –You’re one of the writers for patio6!! (And I’m not. I don’t know. Whatever.) Then Athan will be the main writer. LOL.

I wasn’t able to capitalize the word “THE” that’s why it sounded a bit off… I already edited the thing for better understanding… hehehe
